What I have been sewing
I haven't done a lot of sewing lately.
On my After Retirement To Do List was participating in a quilt shop BOM. So below is the second block from my LQS First Saturday BOM. So far I am keeping up.
I also made two Bendy Bags after taking Joan Hawley's Zip It Up class on Craftsy. I recommend the class and enjoyed the projects.
I have started one of my Row by Row kits that I acquired this summer, but no pics to share yet.
The last picture is some of my scrappy nine patches that I have been sewing out of 2 inch squares. I am working it as a Bonnie Hunter style Leader and Ender. I have about 80 made and don't know yet I will make with them.

Friendship Stars
I'm trying to finish up projects. These blocks were from a swap on the APQS forums. I have a few extra that I am piecing in to the back. This quilt will be a donation from the Quilters Guild of Plano. It has to measure 40 x 60 and include a matching pillowcase. These quilts will be for kids but I wanted to contribute something that might work for an older child.
I have made the pillowcase and I am finishing the back today. I have decided to not quilt it until my longarm is set up sometime later this month. It is tempting to finish it now but I can spend the time rearranging and organizing the room the longarm will be in.

Halloween Quilt
My granddaughter, Natalie, wanted to sew so we made a Halloween Quilt. She lost interest after awhile but is delighted I finished it. We did it quilt as you go on my Pfaff. There are still areas that need extra quilting. I plan to let her add some decorative stitching when she next asks to sew.
The first picture below is door decoration which I think my neighbor and Natalie found at Michael's. I love it and everyone who comes to the door comments on it.
This eye jarring geometric print was selected for another project, but I love how well it worked as binding fabric.
